Applications for primary & secondary school places for September 2025 opened on 1st September 2024.  Please click this link for more information  www.lancashire.gov.uk/schools  

The closing date for Primary applications for September 2025 is the 15th January 2025 @ 11-59 pm.

The Closing date for Secondary applications for September 2024 is the 31 October 2024 @ 11:59pm

Secondary school offers will be confirmed on 1st March 2025 electronically.

Primary school offers will be confirmed in 16th April 2025 electronically

CONFIRMATION OF PRIMARY OFFERS

For September 2025, offers will be issued electronically only for all online, ON TIME applicants. 

Letters will be issued on 16th April 2025 by second class post only to those who applied on a paper form. Online applicants will be able to view their own offer on the system on the morning of the offer date. All late applicants will receive an offer letter.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

If you are applying for a primary school place at Sacred Heart based on faith commitment, you must return the supplementary information form along with relevant documents to the school. This means that the school application will be done online with Lancashire County Council, but the supporting documents will be given directly to the school.

Please remember that you must apply for a school place even if your Reception child already has a sibling attending your chosen school.
