Headteacher's Welcome

Welcome to Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School. We hope you find our website both informative and a reflection of the values and ethos of the school. We are very proud of our school, our pupils and all they bring to the wider community.

As a Catholic school, we strive towards providing a curriculum and learning environment that ensures every child makes the most of their talents given to them by God. We strive to create an environment where every member of our community feels safe, loved, valued and respected. This is underpinned by our mission statement which puts Christ at the centre of all we do. We have high expectations for every child and believe strongly that the unique achievements and contribution of every child should be celebrated and valued.

At Sacred Heart the children come first, this is their school. We want our children to be happy and for learning to be fun and challenging. It is important that our children have a voice through groups such as the School Council, Eco Council and the Mission Team.

We have a highly motivated, resourceful and committed team of staff and governors who care about and nurture the needs of every child. We work closely with parents, recognising the importance of good communication between home and school. We firmly believe that education is a partnership between home, school and the parish, regarding parents as active partners valuing your interest and support.
