Welcome to Key Stage Two

At Sacred Heart Catholic Primary school, we pride ourselves on our work to develop children as self-assured, motivated, independent learners who take pleasure in their studies. As our children leave us from Key Stage Two, bound for their next adventure, we celebrate the completion of our mission to send out confident, caring children ready to achieve their full potential with Christ at the centre of all they do.

As our children progress through the school into Key Stage Two we maintain our belief in high standards and enrichment. Through providing a well-resourced environment, we allow our children to strive for success, to have enquiring minds and to care and think for others and their surroundings. As you enter Key Stage Two you will find a happy, busy workplace. Such an environment is created to ensure that all our young people grow and perceive learning to be a natural and exciting part of their every-day life. From childhood to adulthood.

It is crucial to us all at Sacred Heart that each child recognises their own unique talents and abilities and develop enquiring minds. This is nurtured through our bespoke Key Stage Two curriculum which is designed with only our children and their interests in mind. A curriculum that is challenging and engaging. A curriculum that is creative and promotes critical thinking.

Our teachers and teaching staff ensure that each child is supported on their learning journey. The individual needs of all our children are catered for and differentiation is clearly visible in all lessons to enable each learner to reach their full potential and thus prepare them for life as positive, adventurous learners who lead through perseverance and resilience.
