We visited UCLan's Young Scientist Centre and took part in a variety of electricity themes activities in the lab!
Ethan L wrote a warning story titled 'The Beach'. He has put great effort into describing the setting, characters and atmosphere.
We are learning new skills in netball and rugby.
Our new topic in Science is light. The children have been investigating how light travels and which materials are good light reflectors. Ask your child how we can see objects.
We used the Makey Makey kit to creat a human circuit/human control pad.

This week, Year 6 have been looking at electrical circuits. We used a Makey Makey kit to make some music with our human circuit.
Week two of gymnastics. The children were working on their core strength and balancing. Ethan narrowly defeated Mr Kay doing the plank!
A good first, full week back. We finished off the week with PE. We are doing gymnastics this term. The children were treated to a game of benchball at the end of the session.
